2. Disc Diameter Deviation

  • For diameters ≤ 300mm: ±(0.04d + 1.5)mm.
  • For diameters > 300mm: ±(0.025d + 6)mm.

An example for U70BS glass insulators: with a disc diameter of 255mm, the deviation is 255mm ± 11.7mm.

3. Creepage Distance Deviation

The deviation is set at ±(0.04d + 1.5)mm. Notably, the average creepage distance must not fall below the nominal creepage distance. For a disc diameter of 320mm, the deviation would be 320mm ± 14.3mm.

4. Offset Criteria

  • Axial offset: not exceeding 0.04D mm.
