  • High Voltage Lines: For 800kV and above, standards are even more stringent, demanding additional impact resistance and a lower removal rate for the final treatments.
  • Appearance and Defects: External umbrella-shaped glass components must be free from external cracks and missing materials, with only minor allowable deformations.

Iron Cap and Steel Feet Specifications

  • Smooth Metal Surfaces: Iron caps and steel feet surfaces should be smooth to avoid corona discharge, adhering to JB/T 8178 and JB/T 9677 standards.
  • Material Requirements: Caps are made from heat-treated malleable cast steel, ductile iron, or similar materials, free of defects.
  • Construction: They should not be manufactured using methods that involve more than one piece of material, such as welding or cold shrinkage crimping.

Locking Pin Standards

  • Compliance and Material: Locking pins must comply with GB/T 25318 and GB/T 1001.1, ideally made from austenitic stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials.
  • Design Specs: R-type pins for heavy loads should have two ends to prevent them from coming out of the ball socket during locking and release.

Cement Adhesive Requirements

  • Material Composition: Use Portland cement or high alumina cement, with a strength grade of 52.5 or higher according to JB/T 4307.
  • Surface Quality: The exposed surface should be flat with minimal imperfections, and cracks must not exceed a width of 0.2mm.
